It appears to be equally well made. The battery is a snug fit in the UPS case, as was the original battery. Installation was straightforward and was completed in a few minutes without any significant problems. Operation of the UPS with the new battery is without problem,These remarks can be multiplied by "two": I have two identical UPS and the original batteries on each failed within about 4 months of each other. I replaced both batteries at the same time, both as described above and both with the same results as described above.
