Still ok to give I think since it looks fine on the front, but makes me question durability and also remove one star. They are a little more lightweight than most frames. But they are pretty and I mean you really can't beat the value. I'm currently making a number of silhouettes for my home and these frames are perfect. I like the finish they have (no glossy look) and they are a good value for what you get. I've purchased quite a few frames from this company in several sizes (I'm working on a large project). On some frames the back panel (the one you close to keep your picture in the frame) have been known to slightly curve a bit so as not to stay perfectly flat. No big deal as far as I'm concerned. I would recommend these frames.
