Kao Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence Sunscreen SPF50+ PA++++ 85g

I've never had excema in my 30 plus years on this earth. It has taken months through elimination to find this product was the cause. I was so miserable, my face especially around my eyes were swollen and had to be prescribed steroids. As soon as I stopped using it the excema disappeared. I'm not sure this is a genuine product.I've bought the genuine product in store from a reputable retailer and never had this issue.The consistency of this product is a little lumpy too.I do NOT recommend anyone buy from this store.

I am absolutely in love with this product. One of the main problems that prevented me from consistently wearing suncream was that it was just annoying and unomfortable. Nomal suncream is just like a sticky layer of fat on my skin and really not a motivator for consisent use.Kao Biore revolutionised my skincare routine. It's super light and within no time it feels like I never applied anything at all. It's not visible, doesn't have a pungeant smell and most importantly it actually does protect from the sun.I trialled the sunprotecting quality at the beach this summer in Spain. I covered my whole body and sat in the sun for several hours (after months of darkness). I seemingly forgot to put any on my feet and the tanline between where the cream was applied and where it wasn't was clear and strong. So it works!Definitely recommend :)

I have brown skin and sunscreen always left this white sheen that this product does not. I also was using Isoretinoin making my skin hyper sensitive to the sun and this product did a fabulous job of protecting it. However what I love about it the most is how light weight feeling it is. I always found sunscreens burdensome but this has been a game changer. I now end up using sunscreen more regularly because of how comfortable it is to apply and wear. I have already ordered my second pack.

This is my favourite facial sunscreen. I use sunscreen every day as part of my skincare routine and this is a brilliant product. It has a very lightweight texture - somewhere between a light cream and a gel, it is not tinted, it glides on and absorbs into the skin easily and it does not leave a white cast. I usually start with a serum, then moisturiser, then this sunscreen, followed by foundation and I have never experienced any pilling. As it's so lightweight, I am not sure how sweat/water resistant it is, so I use a heavier sunscreen for sports and holidays, but it is perfect for everyday use in the UK. I started out with the smaller 50g bottle and now buying this larger one as it's better value for money. The item safely arrived from Japan a lot quicker than expected.

This does not provide spf50 cover in the same way as specifically formulated suncream would. I used this on my face whilst hiking and used a branded SPF 50 suncream on my arms at the same time. I got burnt on my face within 2 hours of being outside but my arsm stayed fine! This item is formulated for general everyday wear, where the user is expected to spend time inside/protected with other layers of SPF/makeup.

I love this product, ever since 2018 I have been using this as my sunscreen. Lightweight and does not leave a whitecast. However, I think we have to be very careful with the sellers that we are dealing with. This particular rating is for the seller as I ordered for the 85ml item but what I received was the small 50ml version. SCAM.

I have medium-to-light brown South Asian skin. The watery essence feels cool and light to apply and sinks in very quickly, to the point where I was doubtful I put on enough. But I mean that in a good way! Very cosmetically elegant, does not sting the eyes whatsoever, doesn't pill, doesn't make your face feel uncomfortable, doesn't leave your hands all greasy, and doesn't leave a white cast. I've seen reviews saying this about other products, only to waste my money and find out it's not the case. But the Biore Watery Essence, is pretty much is exactly as you'd expect it to be if you're fed up of western/non-alcoholic sunscreens and are tempted by the hype around this product. No nasty surprises.

I love this sunscreen gel. Lightweight, watery gel. A little goes a long way. Can be worn under make up. I feel protected and have not had any facial redness from sun exposure since using it. No side effects experienced by myself. No oily/greasy/shiny film on my skin after application. No white cast experienced. My skin feels plump and hydrated after use. I usually apply once a day if I know that I'm going to be outside a lot that day. This larger tube is much better value.
