Chicken Approved. *by B***F on June 24, 2020* Exactly what I was looking for. I needed a large inside coop surface area for baby chicks when they are feathered enough to go outside. What sold me on the coop was the sweet little flower box on the side and overall look of the coop. The coop is not the exact one pictured. I actually like the coop I received better than the photo example. The roosting bar in the run is much better constructed in the one I received. I love the plastic window, and there are the cute ventilation windows at the top. I find the coop gets really warm in the sun, as to be expected with a black roof. It did not take the chicks long to figure out how to fly down to the run to keep cool. For size comparison, the water in the photo is a 1 gallon size. I have at least 20 chicks in the coop right now, all around four weeks old. Another pro for me is the area under the nesting box is also protected. I find this lacking in other coops, and we always needed to nail down the bottom so critters cannot enter through there. All in all a great coop.A possible improvement in the future, maybe making the cleanup door with a layer of hardware cloth with a slide door to close when needed. This way I know my chickens are protected and keeping slightly more cool in the day time.Some pieces did come cracked from transit, but none that affected the structural integrity of the coop. ### ⭐ Wood is very thin and flimsy. *by J*** on April 25, 2020* To start or should I say not start, the directions are a diagram which were not easy to unravel. An architect friend of mine happen to be visiting and if it wasn't for him would have taken me much longer to assemble. When finished assembly, I initially though how beautiful it turned out until it was up a few days. The flower box started coming apart, (most of it was put together with cheap staples, so I decided to remove it as it fell apart as I tried to fix it.) Thankfully I had not place my chicken it the coop as a few days late,r winds of about 35-45 miles came and blew the roof fight off. Like I said I had an architect fiend help me put together. So, now it sits without any chicken it until I can reinforce it somehow. Very disappointing, will not be going this route again. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Cute but cheap *by M***D on July 8, 2020* Directions not perfect. Some of the screws were wrong size. One piece completely fell apart and we have to glue it. I’m not certain this will last after a few rains. Maybe I should paint it with something weatherproof? I’ll have to use a stronger mesh and stronger latches. Not worth the money I spent but it’s very cute.
