However, they will help open your nasal passages if you get stuffy when you lay down. These actually made my sleep apnea worse because I use nasal pillows when I sleep. While the nose strip did pull open my nasal passages, it made my nasal pillows not fit snugly inside my nostrils. I ended up snoring pretty badly (according to my husband) with the telltale headache in the morning. **Q: Is it easy to take off? Will it hurt to take them off?** A: The glue works well over night and through the day, for example, if you had a cold and wanted to keep the strip on. To take it off, best if you either wash your face with warm water, especially the strip, or, better, if you shower, get that strip nice and wet and it will dissolve the glue and it will fall off. If you don't wet your face, it will be like tearing off a sticky piece of tape. In that case, pull it off SLOWLY and it won't hurt. My son has a hard time with allergies sometimes and when he gets stuffy, he is miserable. These definitely help him sleep better. The smell is amazing and you get a lot for the price.
