Description
- The lead screw has a diameter of 1" and affords an opening range for the vise of 6-1/2".
- The vise is designed to accept a front jaw at least 1-1/2" thick.
- A thicker front jaw will work fine and only reduce the 6-1/2" opening by the amount in excess of 1-1/2".
- The rotating hub on the outboard end of the lead-screw is designed to accept a 7/8" diameter dowel with clearance on the sides.
- The outer guide rods are 18mm (.708") in diameter and are 5.88" apart on center. The vise weight is 11 lbs.

This listing is for a brand new, high quality woodworker's front vise for a workbench. The construction of this vise is top-notch with chrome plated guides and lead screw which is a nice feature to avoid the surface rust that is common on other vises. The wooden front jaw and handle are not included.
