I went from a 30-45minutes of trying to eyeball it with a collimation cap to getting clearer images in about 5 minutes. However, there is a drawback to this laser. Some designs look less sexy because they are simple cylinders. A cylindrical design makes it easier to collimate the laser itself. I would need to build a jig in order to check the collimation of the laser itself. That said, my tube is only 650mm, so it's unlikely that it would make much difference.
