The leather is nice, soft and good looking. The only odd thing is on a man they only seem to fit around the wrist twice(my husband and brother in law tried these on - they are thin men), in the picture it looks like they should go around 3 times. This isn't a big deal, however we did have to make a new holes and trim the end a little because if they went around only twice the loops were far too big.
