Read instructions and charged battery over night before use. The first use I played around with different heat settings starting at the coolest. I kept ramping up to the max 400 degrees... and it still just did not seem hot enough. Yes, it made a slight difference in the texture and consistency of my beard... but if it were just a touch hotter, it would have been better. You really have to comb very very slowly to get the best effect.The only irritating part is I used it for maybe 10 min, and put it away. The next morning I went to use it again and it wouldnt get up to temp... said the battery was dead. I charged it, used it for maybe 3-5 minutes, and put it away. The next day the same thing happened... You only get 1 full use out of a single charge which is pretty pointless. The whole point of going cordless is to be able to travel with it, and NOT be tied to a power outlet. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Handy portable straightener *by S***M on Reviewed in the United States on October 10, 2019* I got this right before camping in the desert!
