With a little patience in adjusting the pendulum, this clock can be made incredible accurate! Be aware that in order to give the weight sufficient room to drop for 8 days of running, the clock needs to be mounted quite high on the wall. At least 6 feet. Or just mount it lower and raise the weight more frequently. Great quality. One critique: the Tempus Fugit sticker looks cheap. I'm a bit of a clock collector and just love the look and basic functionality of this clock. The clock is extremely well made, is very accurate (now), and is very satisfying to watch in action. The chime on the hour is beautiful and very delicate. As a side note on accuracy: the clock was fairly accurate out of the box, but I have been adjusting daily referencing on an atomic clock I have in the house, and now, the clock is accurate to within a few seconds per day.
