My previous on demand water pump died because of the pressure switch. I had it about two years. This time I was willing to pay more for hopefully a better pump. Time will tell. The two things I liked immediately was, just how quiet it was. The old one you could hear throughout the boat. This one can barely hear in the bathroom on the other side of the bulkhead it’s mounted on. The second one is the pressure. After living most of my life on a boat I just got use to slightly low water pressure. This one has house water pressure or slightly more, even though it’s rated the same as my old one. Should be fine with small concentration if you add bleach to holding tank. **Q: Will this pump work with hot water?** A: I would contact the manufacturer. A lot of pumps are rated to handle a certain range of water temperatures.
