My studio has water bottles in the classrooms so that folks can spray their towels before class and I spray both ends of the towel and that's what makes it non-slip for me. I think it also depends on the type of mat you have. Don't skimp on the mat. At first I did not want to spend the $$ but then I ended up replacing my mat for a Manduka Pro and I LOVE it. OK, back to the towel. I just ordered another one of these because I am doing yoga 4x per week and my other towels don't make me as happy as this one. This one by Yogitoes is OK but it's bulky and I slip less on my Gosweat microfiber which costs half as much.
