It didn't irritate my skin at all. It has a really nice fragrance to it as well. I even found that I didn't have to wash my face with soap after using this like most I've used before. It doesn't leave any residue or film after you rinse it off. I noticed to that the 'sugar' like particles that exfoliate your skin aren't large, they're fine and its creamy, which is alot more gentle on your skin. Also, it has cocoa butter in it which is a plus because its suppose to be really great for your skin.
