We were pleasantly surprised at the quality, quantity, and flavor of Del Monte canned mangoes. The chunks are soft, not mushy, and the juice/syrup is light, subtle, and without an aftertaste. These mangoes are good as a side dish for breakfast. Perfect for lunch with granola, mixed with ice cream or on top of other desserts. The 15 oz can is large and can easily serve 2-3 people. A great way to eat mangoes all year long.

I've bought fresh mangoes that go rotten quick or take forever to mature. Just by buying these cans of mango chunks, they are so tasty, smooth, better even than fresh since you get more in 1 can than 1 expensive mango that's too ripened or takes forever to ripen. The top of the can has the regular type of pull-up lid so you don't even need a can opener. The juice is light, not heavy with lots of sugars. I put these mango chunks in puddings and jellos. I'm sure they'd be great in salads, on a cake, or any other dish. Great value for the money!!

Normally I like fresh best, but these canned mango fruit isn't bad for the price. When I need a fast go to and need a riper fruit, this is my go to.

Bought this for Ninja Creami. Just freeze for 24 hours and you've got smooth sorbet ice cream. No added sugar as well. I use liquid stevia.

When you live in Alaska, and fresh fruit isn't available you have to rely on canned fruit. This is one of the best, as tasty, sometimes better, than fresh mangos we have purchased in the grocery stores in Utah. Most other canned fruit can't hold a candle to the fresh. Plus the cans are mainly filled with mangos, rather than a lot a liquid, which is something we noticed with Mandarin Oranges. peaches and pears. Wish we had bought more than we did, because at this time they currently aren't available. We will be keeping our eyes open and order more when they once again become available.
