After a quick assessment and run to the hardware store to get the parts needed for the install, I began. The install was quick and painless. This instructions were very clear including the programming. Make sure you follow the instructions including the start-up portion to the letter or you'll be stuck with some nasty brown water (associated with new resin beads) in the plumbing lines like I did (I know I was hasty). Once I realized my mistake, I back-tracked a bit and reprogrammed and then followed the set up instructions. Went through its first recharge and off we went. I set it to run another recharge that night, and flushed all the lines in the house the next morning (including a flush of the water heater). All is good. Not a single leak from any of the fittings, silky smooth soft water throughout the home, and a quiet little water softener dutifully doing its job in my garage.
