There was a single panel pin that presumably was supposed to have held the assembly together but looks as though it may have contributed to the handle splitting. I will try to repair this, as I just can’t be arsed with sending it back. The umbrella mechanism works and is quite lightweight, size is okay, but it’s neither compact nor tiltable.
