After owning for about 3-4 and extending a couple of dozen times; now it does not fully retracts.

The construction of this baton is good for the price. Mine was promptly lubricated upon receipt and deployed about 50 times without failure to begin the break-in process. The length is not 21 inches but rather about 20 when fully extended. Handle length is closer to 9 inches than the specified 7. The grip handles well and is secure under most user conditions. The tip screws on and off but I don't find any additional ones to buy. The barrel material is anybody's guess and is probably an alloy of some sort. This baton has not been tested under destructive conditions. However, any baton when used to strike solid enough objects is going to show some deformation :0). All in all this baton is a nice compromise between price and quality/sturdiness.

Full metal, light weight aluminum alloy.Hand pull out, push mechanical button to unlock.Slide smoothly, mechanical lock seems reliable at the first glance. I like it.

I bought this thinking this would be much longer and used for hiking & camping tool. Turns out it was not long enough...seems ridiculous. Felt like I got lied too...

Feels like a toy but hits like a truck, this thing is really light weight but really nice. The opening of it is really REALLY stiff! You gotta really swing it to extract it but if you go ahead and take it apart and clean out the grease it comes with and lube it up, it'll extract much easier. You can use either vegetable oil if you're cheap as hell or use something more high quality, I suggest speed cream used for skateboard bearings and please, don't use WD40

Kinda light in weight. I carry an ASP on the job but it doesn’t have the push button release like this one.
