So I’ve been shopping for clip in bangs until they grow out, and came across these. The synthetic hair looked pretty fake and shiny but was soft and easy to apply. It just did not match my hair. I received it in the chestnut in light brown mix. If you’re going to wear this bang piece, you might need to wear it with a hat or with your hair up. Not a bad price to add it to a collection for your costumes, but doesn’t seem good for every day wear. You can definitely tell the difference between this hair piece and your real hair in my opinion. ### ⭐⭐ Too fake looking, in many respects. Not for me! *by B***L on Reviewed in the United States on October 19, 2020* Not sure why these bangs have such high reviews, but I did notice a lot of the reviewers stating that they look fake, and I have to agree 100% -- I just wish I had listened. Not only are they way too unnaturally shiny, but the texture of the hair is unrealistic and makes it obvious that it is fake. I guess if you have a weave or wear a wig these might work, but I don't know many people whose hair is this shiny and thick, yes, thick enough even when it would mean half their head has been chopped into bangs. I have fine hair, so it definitely looked fake, and my family could tell from quite a distance when I showed up and claimed I had gotten a haircut. They laughed at how phony and silly it looked.The amount of hair in the fringe area is quite excessive too, and no matter how much I tried pulling some hair away and slicking it back so the bangs would look more wispy and therefore more natural, you could see the black netted area that the hair and the clips are attached to. Sure, I could use a headband or bandanna to cover up that black netted area, but I don't want to be confined to wearing one all the time. I want to be able to wear my hair half up and half down, and that would look silly with a headband, for example. These bangs started at an unnatural high point too. I wanted bangs that would clip to the front of my head, not halfway to the back, no one's bangs start halfway at the back of their head.I remember reading a review that mentioned these bangs looked like something The Beatles would have worn, and I have to agree. No matter how much I tried moving them to the side, they'd go back to being a huge curtain bang, rather than a side bang. I don't think ANYONE could pull off a Beatles look, I think it even looked silly on them, and even more so on a woman. I think I'm just going to suck it up and get bangs cut into my hair, even though it might make my hair look somewhat scarce and the fact they're hard to keep straight in high humidity, which is a constant here.
