Should I get her a medium one?** A: These costumes definitely run big. My daughter wears size 8-9 so I got the large and it was big on her. The costume definitely runs longer than wider. My daughter is average height 8 ear old, but is very slim...with wise, the costume fit fine, it was just pretty long. I would say that if you are okay with having to roll the pants up (which is what we did and it was so ill adorable) and/or if your daughter is a little heavier set then go with the med. but If you want it to fit perfectly with very little room for growth, then you may want to go to a size small. **Q: Where can I find information on sizing for this costume?** A: I ordered it for my size 4 (at the time) daughter and it was way too big. She was able to wear it anyway for a production. My son is in a size 8-10 and it is still a little too big for him but I've had it for three years and they wear it pretty often to play in and it has held up perfectly. **Q: What is the true color of this? Wore it for work farm-themed Halloween dress up. Easy to move around in (feels like wearing pj’s), but couldn’t wear the hand hooves part while working (typing, washing hands, etc). 13 yo lean 5 ft son also wore it, and while it was big on him, it stayed on all day. Our son wanted to be a sheep for Halloween, and he was very happy with this costume. The wool was soft and sheep-like, the ears were super-cute, the whole thing was great! I bought size small (the smallest size). He usually takes size 3 or 4; it was a bit big on him but looked fine. The elastic in the "paws" was a little tight around his wrists and he was a little annoyed with it.It would definitely keep you warm if you were trick-or-treating in the cold. The picture on Amazon is a good representation of what you get, but what we got was even better than what we expected.
