Not sure what happened or what caused it but this seems to happen to me a lot. Normally headphones will last over a year though. These were only six months, other than that the only other issue I had with them is I didn't feel like the mic went out far enough. I'm a soft-spoken person so it took a little bit to adjust the volume of my voice for people to hear me. I do like the design, they are very comfortable but well yeah. Super tight on your head and I’m a girl. Not to mention you can’t even use the light feature because it needs to be hooked up to usb and the cord is literally a foot long.
