Check the science on their website then check peer reviewed papers re oils.This is a thicker consistency than regular commercial virgin oils.On my tongue is tastes like fresh arugula greens... my friend says it’s like fresh ground pepper to his tongue. The price is the same as I pay from my local olive oil shop, but provides the assurance that it truly IS organic. I used to but my olive oils from mediterrian countries. Then I read that it may start out organic, but it travels here on ships in huge plastic bags called "whales" and is spayed with insecticides which can leech thru the plastic. Some oils tested 300% higher than considered safe.
