It comes with a splitter, so then one line goes into the tank and one into the bidet. If your current tank supply line is not removable from the external shutoff valve, you will need a new shutoff valve (which means that you will need to shut off the water in your whole house). That's about the only possibility that would make the installation slightly less easy. **Q: Can I put the elongated bidet seat on a round toilet to use while I wait for my new elongated toilet to arrive?** A: We did! All of the seat contacts are on the toilet, and the seat is sturdy, there's just an inch or two of front toilet rim visible. **Q: Can thie be plugged into an extension cord? If so what type/gauge is recommended?** A: Yes, in the sense that any cord and plug connected equipment can use an extension cord, but in a bathroom it can be very difficult to avoid putting the connection where it could get wet. If you can work that out, then the correct extension cord is a 3 prong (grounded) type not longer than required and suitable for the maximum power draw which is 5.5A for 660W. Short extension cords made for use with window air conditioners have adequate conductors, but any UL listed extension cord with 16 AWG copper or 14 AWG copper wire will be adequate. **Q: Is the electrical cable coming from left side or right side when you are facing the toilet? Same for BB-2000?** A: It comes out from the right side as your facing it and is about 3 1/2 feet long.
