Got these mounted on my longboard. I included pictures to show how I ended up mounting it. So far I like them. I haven’t taken my board out yet since I installed them so I will update my review after I see how they hold up to use. The only con for me is that the battery pack that came with it is much larger than I had anticipated. I plan on swapping it out with a slim power bank in the near future which will also give me the ability to “charge” the lights instead of using a bunch of batteries

I took away 1 star due to some difficulty installing and the basic functionality of the Bluetooth.First, the instructions are chopped English and confusing. They say to go to your phones settings under Bluetooth, find happy lighting and connect. Well, my phone never found happy lighting. I got frustrated trying to follow these steps as there is not any button on the device to place it into a pairing mode. So I reached out to the seller. They were quick to respond and told me to go into the app and look for the device. Low and behold, it was connected in there under devices... it still never shows in my Bluetooth menu on my phone even when connected. I have an iPhone.. don’t know if that’s worth anything. So finally I got them working and they look great and respond well in the app. There are so many colors and the music works good with them too.Now installing them was challenging too.. they come rolled up so tight that once the strip is unrolled, the ends will not stay down. They are kinked so bad. I ended up having to cut off the last light on all 4 strands on the 2 sets I got.Lastly, when you have multiple sets like on 2 bikes let’s say, one phone will connect to both and control both units. On top of that, you cannot change the name of the units so it just shows being connected to 2 units with long number and letter names. So you have to guess which one is on the bike that’s not yours to disconnect it from your app.Overall though, after the first unit and learning its challenges, the 2nd unit and I got along much better and I installed that one much faster. Once all set up they look great!! Hope this review gets you off to a better start with these than I did!

I dropped it another star the color changing feature stops and freezes on a single color don't buy keep looking aroundWelll it's very cheap. The connections don't click into place they are just held by pure imagination or tape.Also I had to use super glue to get the lights to stay the adhesive isn't strong enough and is coming loose from the board.Also the bluetooth doesn't want to connect most of the time. I could eventually get it to connect after messing with it for 10mins.Also again the colors on the remote is mixed up red will be blue yellow will be aqua. But that isn't a problem because you can just look at the lights and decide that way.Overall it looks great and the color changing effects work great. My recommendation is to find the color or pattern you like and don't mess with it anymore. Because the bluetooth may fail and you will be stuck with what ever color it was on.Last thing perfect length for the electric skateboard.

After reading a seemingly endless amount of critical reviews, I am furious. The product is made with a low quality plastic akin to novelty toys. The electrical wiring, casing, and LED strips are not made to be used on skateboards, scooters, etc. these were built for a stationary purpose, more than likely indoors. This is why the product stops working not long after the first use, I.e. 2-3 weeks. Seller made a good amazon page with plenty of bright lights, pictures showing the product working just as it should, and 4/5 stars review. The amazon item page has had more effort out into it than the making of this terrible product. My order came without the usb 40cm cord, only one light strip, and was also missing the 3M adhesive that’s supposed to mount the battery pack. Oh and no instructions. Where I’m from, you cannot make a mistake like this and still keep your job in shipping. But this is a problem on Amazon, and an assumed risk we all accept and take when buying here- sellers peddling crap products because they can with no repercussions. If the product page tells us everything we need without touching and feeling it, then we feel good enough to buy online. Sellers know this and push crap product to make a larger profit. Not including 3 parts feels like they didn’t have the parts and they sold & shipped anyway. They probably thought I wouldn’t return it, and just eat the loss. No way. If you purchase this product, you will not be satisfied. Also no instructions or items list included. Do not buy.

I bought these for my e scooter so I can be visible at night. It does the job very well. The lights are bright and colorful. The led strips are waterproof and so far work fine for what I wanted.To make them better I added a few things.1. Ditch the included battery pack. It’s flimsy and would not survive in the rain. Go and purchase a small 5000 or 10000 mah battery bank. You can find one the size of a pack of cards.2. Purchase 3m double sided tape and double sided velcro. The led strip has tape but will fall off the surface after a few days. Just attach directly to new tape. The Velcro is for the battery bank wherever you attach it to.3. Buy duck tape or any waterproof tape. You will need a small strip to secure the connection of the led strip to the power. You’ll know what I mean.For a pair of flashing lights and a app that controls it, it’s a good deal! Just know you will have to play around with it to make it work for your needs

I am sending this product back it is complete garbage I tried and tried again to connect the app to control the light And it just does not work this product is terrible. A complete waste of my time and money a warning to others do not order this product you will be extremely disappointed. And on a side note Amazon really, desperately, needs to step up their game when it comes to quality control. A complete failure.
