Nature House Martin Safety System with Pole, 12 Room

I read many reviews about different birdhouses before buying. This manufacturer had the best overall rating. Then I checked ricing and Amazon had the best price. The house assembly instruction were easy but getting parts to cooperate at time was difficult. However, I am glad I purchased this house. A week after we mounted it we had a horrible storm with 70 mile an hour winds and it held up remarkably. We had trees down and heavy rains. No damage! Our only complaint is the bottom pole assembly is loose and not too secure. So, we had to add some shims to make it more secure. We are just waiting to welcome our purple martins. The house system is well worth the cost and time to assemble.

This is the second house of this brand I have bought. The design is superb and martins came to live immediately. I will be buying another one next season for a total of three.

first got this bird house and I was thinking it was great not so very hard to pull up and hard to get downtook three of us , this house is a good idea but needs a lot of improvements. would not buy again.

Good quality but be ready for lots of pieces. Everything did fit together well. No problems. Birds already moving in.

Very sturdy / heavy pipe type of pole. I like the bottom socket that can be set in concrete and the main pole set and clamped inside the socket. I used two 50 lb bags of redi-mix and that worked out fine. Instructions were clear and helpful. Martin house is easily accessible with the lanyard set up......just a word of caution...never stand directly beneath the birdhouse while raising or lowering the birdhouse...fortunately I didn't learn this by mistake or this product but read elsewhere. My only suggestion to the manufacturer would be to install a braking point at about 6'- 0 to 7'-0 above ground level which could be released to bring the birdhouse lower rather than stopping at the lanyard assembly rope winding cleat which is lower than a person 5'-0" in height.

Great item, just takes two people to assemble the thing.

The kit comes with everything but the 50# bag of concrete to get the house up in a day. It took about an hour to dig the hole and get the base pipe set in place. The Martin house took a couple of hours to put together. The following day, we slid the house on the poles, set the poles in the base and raised the house. The poles look sturdy enough, will know for sure at the next big wind. The Martin scouts will soon be here, hope they like it.
