I just received my Garmin 245 today and discovered it was the "Hong Kong" version (i.e. APAC). Discovering this was not terribly easy so I wanted to put out there what I had to do to figure this out. 1) I had to install the garmin connect app on my phone 2) I had to connect the phone to my watch which registered the watch 3) I then called Garmin Support 4) Garmin Support looked at my account and confirmed it was the "Hong Kong" version 5) I called Amazon Support who instructed me to return it and then they said they'd contact the seller to see if they could send me a US version. We'll see where this goes.... **Q: Does it tell altitudes** A: I love this watch. It does not have a barometer for altitude, but the GPS / Garmin connect figures the altitude from the maps (and from GPS until it looks at the maps). Fine if you're not counting stairs or mountain-biking seriously needing a barometer. Note, there are 2 versions, amazon lists it as one product, for example (Aqua-Music) 010-02120-22 is the ROW (rest-of-world) version and 010-02120-52 is the APAC (Asian-Pacific) version. The firmware releases are different !!! Not to mention the available languages. The suppliers ARE sending the APAC version without any way to tell (in Amazon) that that might happen. I love the watch. I did send back the APAC one that Amazon sent because I wanted to use beta firmware and order (for a higher price) from REI to get one that I know will be ROW. But for most people, probably they won't care, both have English and the same features... **Q: Can this support chinese language?** A: There are 2 versions of this watch - 010-02120-22 and 010-02120-52. The DESCRIPTION lists this as -22, the ROW (rest of world) version, but ACTUALLY you are likely to get the -52, the APAC Asian-Pacific version. So, *maybe/probably* you'll get one that supports Chinese, but *maybe/who-knows* not, since Amazon only lists 1 product, when actually there are 2 versions. It is a crap-shoot roll of the dice. But the odds are if the price looks good, it came from APAC not ROW. Cheaper prices mean better chance you get the version which Asian-Pacific language support. If Amazon was paying attention and dealt with it, they would list *2* different products, and you could pick between -22 or -52. (NOTE: Those product numbers are for Aqua-Music version - I'm sure there is a similar split for all other colors and music or not music). **Q: Does it come with charger included?** A: All Garmin devices come with a charger in the box. The included cable is data/charging cable for connecting to a computer for syncing data and charging.
