The color always change. Glad I found these pretty simple necklace. Decided to buy the gold and wore it almost everyday and I'm surprised coz the color didn't fade at all. The problem with it is that it constantly flips around to the non-engraved side. If the holes in the bar where the chain connects to it were higher up (ie: right in the corners) instead of right in the middle, I think this would be avoided. Or it could just be engraved on both sides so that if it flips, you can still see the engraving.
