Wow awesome informative read !
Two plus decades in the salon business as designer/developer of average to awesome salons & spas,I've never found reference material as beneficial to ALL the aspects of opening and operating a successful hair/nail salon or spa as outlined in Jeff's book. Finally an author who understands how to help salon owners. Retail is essential in a successful salon. From a design aspect, layout lighting and the importance of the flow of customer traffic all assists the buying experience. The business ideas are abundant throughout this book as well as furniture pricing. Being a designer myself for Takara Belmont I can understand and relate to everything this author is explaining. This book is a must read for new and existing salon owners.Since this book came out,I've recommended this book as a must read for all my existing and even past clients who too can benefit from Jeff's wisdom. Can't wait for the next book to come out.I'm hooked on success and you should be too !

A "Must Read" for the Salon and Spa Professional
Whether you are just getting started in the business or been at it most of your life - you owe it to yourself to pick up this book and treat it like it was gospel. The best part is there is NO RISK - if you follow the book to the letter, you will grow your salon and your wealth ...how often do you get to say that in business? I don't own a salon, but I work with beauty schools all over the country and every student should have this in their hands when they graduate. Mr. Grissler's books never disappoint.

Great Book!
I just read this book and was reminded of my last trip to the hair salon when my stylist started talking about the grooming cream she was using on my hair. Of course I bought some, and realized how powerful retail sales can be in the salon industry. I believe the author called this "indirect selling" and it was definitely effective. I'm going to tell her to download this book while it's free!
