I'm 5'4" 180 pounds. My waist is 30" and my hips are 42" and I have smaller calves & ankles. I ordered XL which fit me very, very comfortably! I love them!!! But if I want a tightening effect, I would need to order a L. The fabric design (circles/heavy texture) does wonders concealing the hail damage on the back of my legs! These are thicker material and have the gathered seam in the middle of the butt to accentuate your bottom. Very flattering for many figures.
