Really depends on the weight of the batteries that you use. **Q: What is the difference ml300l and ml300lx ?** A: I believe the difference is that the ml300l has the standard finish and the ml300lx has the matte finish. I have both models and I like them both. **Q: will this work with bust a cap** A: I got a bust a cap to go with my new MaglightML300LX flashlight. It WOULD NOT thread on to this new model. So, I put it on a older LED 3 cell Maglight and it screwed right on. **Q: Why does the website say a different lumen count compared to the amazon listing? 725 lumens on maglite website** A: Normally 2D units run 500-600 lumens, 3Ds run 600-700 lumens, and 4Ds run in the 1000 range. The light I purchased was a 3 cell and the packaging stated 675 lumens. It's possible that newer versions of this flashlight are 700+. It's a nice flashlight for the money. You may get a 600+ version, or a 700+ version depending on what is available when it's ordered. If it's a newer one it may be the 700+ version. Does what it is designed for, the brightness is superb, manufacturers.can do better job in focus modes , can't narrow down the broad focus.
