This Natural Chemistry cover free is an advanced mono-layer technology that helps save water and money by decreasing evaporation. It reduces water evaporation by up to 85-percent and reduces heat loss by as much as 70-percent. Invisible barrier that conserves water and heating energy. Helps conserve hundreds of gallons of pool water. Excellent surface tension helps product remain in place. pH is neutral. Recommended dosage are 4-ounce per 20,000-gallons of water or 667-square feet per week. It can apply using the measuring guide on side of the bottle and squeeze recommended dose over the surface of the pool water. Surface tension allows cover free to remain in place or reform during swimming. Includes 12 cover free container per pack. Comes in 32-ounce container.

Review: It really works. - My third year with this product and it works. My pool is in direct sun all day so mid season there is no use for it but the beginning and end it’s a must. Temperature holds much better with the cool nights and less evaporation. Very easy to use.

Works as advertised for over two years. - This is an excellent product and I use it regularly to reduce water evaporation and increase temperature a few degrees (2-5 degrees Fahrenheit, depending on sun and weather conditions). I pour the product directly into the skimmer as recommended. I have not noticed any negative effects in more than two years of use in my 40,000 gallon vinyl pool, with sand filter, and chlorine generating salt cell. I have noticed the thickness of the product change overtime. Initially, it was a thick milkshake consistency. Now it is more like chocolate milk. There seems to be a bit of variability, but I do not notice there is an impact on utility. The pool is at 2000 feet and the night’s cool off even in the summer. I have definitely noticed more steam rising from the pool at night in the times that I am not using the product. This amount to a quarter or even a half an inch of water loss depending on conditions. The product seems to reduce that by at least half. Saving water and making it easier to keep the pool in balance chemically. I ordered several bottles In the past, they all arrived taped up. One time I ordered two, neither taped and both leaked. Update: I have continued to order this product. I have not had the leaking issue occur a second time. The bottles generally all arrived taped.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Will this work with a salt water pool?  Also are Polymers safe?**
A: Absolutely, have used in my salt water pool for about a year. You'll most likely notice reduced evaporation first. A side effect of evaporation is cooling, so there is also a slightly less loss of temperature. Here in So Fl. we use it in the fall and spring. Winter here (w/solar heating) requires a "bubble plastic" solar cover to use pool year round. Up north I would use it all summer long. Here in Summer the pool is often close to 94/95 w/o any cover and solar heat shut down, so we just run the deck jets and replace the water evaporation when it doesn't rain enough to keep the pool filled and temp down below 90. I like this product and use it a lot; it isn't magic, but it sure helps reduce water evaporation (just for the record, we also use 50ppm borate in the pool water as well). Also I have found after the first 2 doses, I only need to add more product every other week (if you had kids and loads of splash out) then maybe you might need to add more each week.

**Q: How soon after putting this in can you swim?**
A: This product is not irritating or dangerous.  Swimming can be done right away.

**Q: can you use this in addition to a solar blanket**
A: I bought the product to replace my solar blanket because it was so hard to put on and take off. I can't think of a reason why it wouldn't work with your solar blanket on. The product is just okay, as last year it keep the pool kind of warm,but really didn't stop the evaporation of the pool water.

**Q: Seems to me if it create a layer on top of the pool and you have a skimmer pool filter, wont it gum up your DE filter mechanism faster?**
A: No did not gum my filters at all , but the product only works marginally at best keeps some water from evaporating but does not keep the water warm on cold nights, save your money and buy a cover,

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works but nothing major

This is a product I have used for a couple of years. It doesn't maintain the temp perfect but I do see a difference when using it. Don't expect to put this in and have you pool not lose any heat...it will reduce the heat loss but not eliminate it. We normally keep our pool around 82 in the later summer/fall months and if we don't use it we lose about 4 or so degrees on a cool night. If we do use it, maybe we only lose a couple. I think it works good enough especially in those in between months to help reduce heat loss and save your heater or keep you pool a bit warmer until the sun can do it's job. Overall, not bad but cheaper than others and does okay so worth it to me.
