I never understood why people made such a big deal about the issues of lacing their shoes til I got to be 57 with a bum foot. Having to take my shoes on and off all day to ice and rest my foot became a total pain as Id have to lace and unlace my sneakers every time.My concern was that these laces would either make the shoes too tight (and hurt my circulation or too lose and Id lose the support aspects) Instead they were perfect. I can loosen them to slide the shoes on and off and tighten them up after slipping them back on if I need to, but most of the time I dont even do that. I just slip them on and off.I know that doesnt sound like a big deal but it really is. I farm and have to be on my feet all day and in and out of these shoes for PT. The boys haven’t quite figured out how to adjust them and have pulled an end or two off attempting to do it, so we still have to do that for them. They don’t look quite as nice as a brand new pair of tied shoelaces, but seeing as that reality was never going to surface in our household, this was a great compromise for 6 am struggles and makes us look like we care at least a little bit about the state of our children’s footwear. Personally, I replaced my own Nike tennis shoe laces with them as well and love them! I waited until I wore them a couple of days to trim the length which was good because I had no idea how long I’d want them to be. I still had to re-tie my laces every 2-3 holes, because they become loose, or undone. Then, I saw these Udaily laces. First I was skeptical because of elastic property; won't they just stretch to give the feeling of looseness? (I like my shoe laces to be really tight.) I was impressed how they kept laces tightly. Four pairs of laces are long enough for most shoes, and, pretty easy to put on shoes such that I didn't need to read any instruction nor watch any video. UDAILY provides four sets for price of just one on other brands; why pay more? I like the round piece for "unlocking," as some other brand shows relatively narrow piece to press with your fingers -- and, you do need to press with little force (not very comfortable). For my golf shoes, I had to cut about eight inches on both ends.
