I am liking drones and have a few different ones now. This one I ordered to use in the house and just for fun. This little drone is pretty cool. First the bad... This is the second one we received. The first one flew just fine, but the wi-fi did not work. There was no video feed. That being said, it was shipped by Amazon, so it was returned the same day we got it and an identical one was sent out immediately. This second one works fine. No problems. I did not mark this down as the return process and shipping was within a day, just like the first one we received, and I get it, things don't always work. But Amazon fixed it immediately so in my book, no harm, no foul.As for the drone itself, it is soooo tiny. Which makes it a little hard to control. It is probably not a good idea for little kids. It is more difficult to fly than the DJI Tello, but it is way smaller than the Tello too. Its arms fold in and it comes with two batteries that last about 7 minutes each. If you put both batteries in the charger at the same time, from dead to full is about 40 minutes. Both batteries charge at the same time in the charger, not like DJI that charges one then the next. It is cheaper than the DJI, but it does not maintain steadiness like the Tello does. If you have a new beginner I highly recommend the DJI Tello as a first drone. It is easier to fly than this S9. That being said, if you already have flown drones, this is a very fun one to fly. It is more challenging than the DJI series due to its lack of stability, but it is fairly stable. It drifts a little but is still very controllable. The video feed is comparable with the Tello, but it is only for fun, not for anything serious. You could use the video for vlogging (720 res), but the quality is not quite there that you would want to post it a lot. You should move up to at least the Tello or the Air as they have better stability and better video feeds.This one is a 5 star for me as it is really fun to fly, really cheap, and only takes 40 minutes to charge up both batteries. I love this one and may get another.**Note: if you get an S9 be sure to get one that at least has altitude hold. It would be very difficult to fly this if it did not have altitude hold.

This is an excellent beginner drone, as well as fun for more experienced flyers! Easy to fly, easy to learn, and very responsive. The app takes great pictures and video as well. Excellent for first time drone buyer to learn with. This drone is really small, and has no GPS, so keeping it close is important so you don't lose it.

Update 3: Issue with lift was one motor had a small black clip that was not connected. Reconnected and works fine. Company also responded and offered to replace so I'm bumping my review to 5 stars for their quick response. Batteries still do not last very long, but overall a decent little drone for the money which my grandson loves.Update 2: Drone won't lift off anymore. One side lifts but other won't lift off. I have tried both batteries after recharge and changed props. I'll be contacting company.Update: The batteries on this seem to drain incredibly fast. In some cases it seems like after a minute or two the drone becomes unresponsive. If it wan't for that issue I would rate it a 4.Seems pretty sturdy, I have crashed it several times and a prop fell off. Simply pushed it back on and back in business. Not as easy as I thought to operate, but I'm not a big drone user so will probably just take some practice. Still seems like the controller could have been designed better, but again I'm not a big drone user. Look at the pictures carefully. It was smaller than I thought but only because I wasn't paying attention to the pics. Instructions could be a bit better.

I can go on and on about how horrible of a product this is. I have to be honest I was bitter from the start since it arrived late, however once it did arrive, it didn't work! Wouldn't lift off the ground. Plugged the batteries into the charger and the charger wasn't working. I used a different charger and was able to fully charge the batteries and it still didn't work. I tried contacting the seller twice and they blamed amazon for it arriving late. I called amazon and they said it was the seller. Horrible experience! Stay away from this extremely tiny piece of junk. Spend a little more trust me it will be wirth it!

The drone is cool and flies nicely. But one thing that is a huge problem for us is that when you activate the headless mode, the controller starts to beep non stop! Which is very annoying. It keeps on beeping and only stops when the headless mode gets turned off.That is the only reason why I can’t give this drone 5 stars.Again, nice drone, I have no other issues with it, but the headless mode beeping non stop is really a problem for me.

Fast shipping. Reasonable price. If you never flown a drone, it takes some practice. Still, for the money, it's worth it. Beginners use the blade guards. Wish the batteries lasted longer. Batteries last about 7 minutes each. Camera works through cell phone wifi , can control with cell phone but using the included controller is easier.

No good product it was return damage it worked a few times then nothing 😒 it never flew outside

Cool product only thing is the range sucks and when it went out of range it just keeps going higher and higher until it landed on the roof. Christmas present ruined. Also, the app to download to use the camera is not an app, rather a link to a website and when I clicked download, it took over my phone, was hard to delete bc it is not an actual app, and it didn't even work.
