Sorry for the confusion we are going to fix our description.Thank you!Spongeables **Q: Where is this made?** A: I'm sorry but I gave this to a friend as part of a gift basket and didn't notice where it was made. **Q: Is it gentle? I used to have an exfoliating spounge which was gentler then a pumice stone but still took off calluses easily.** A: Yes. There is a soft , but solid, side to the sponge and the scrubbie side is gentle, not rough like a pumice. I use these most every day in the shower , but when my calluses get worse, I use the pumice block. It won't take off seriously nasty callouses, but is great to maintain your feet once the callouses are removed. **Q: Is this for dry/wet use?** A: wet use.
