I was like there's no way I'm putting these oversized Styrofoam plates on my ceiling. We decided to tape a few on the ceiling and see how it looked. Once they're on the ceiling they look great. Easy to install. The only issue we had were damage edges and random ones with flaws. The random ones were the worst , especially if you didn't catch them right away. The bad edges we used on the outer edges that we had to cut smaller. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic and easy to work with *by K***. on April 28, 2018* Great product! I was finishing a partially finished half bathroom in the basement (just toilet and sink). Floor was installed, walls and doors up, fixtures in place, just needed a ceiling. So my initial attempt was with beadboard. That did NOT go well. So I began searching. I did NOT want to mess with Sheetrock again. If I never touch another piece of Sheetrock again in my life it will be too soon. Anyway, I ordered two boxes of these to allow for mess-ups (a necessary thing I have found as a diy-er). These things are super easy to install/cut. Don’t be taken aback when you open the package. They are super super light and you are thinking “really, styrofoam?!” But trust me it works. I used loctite white adhesive. These tiles are forgiving if a screw head is slightly popped out too which helps a bunch! I used a base of plywood and just glued them up. Even without paint they look great but they DO need paint. They mar very very easily! Be careful with rings, fingernails, etc. I indented one putting the light fixture back up but I’m hoping paint will help that. Overall it was a fantastic experience. I can imaging how easy it would be working with an existing ceiling (covering popcorn ceiling, etc). ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Don't let the bad reviews scare you!! *by S***R on September 8, 2018* This is basically a ceiling makeover. They are as thin and heavy as a styrofoam plate but once you paint them they look great. I have always hated the ugly ceiling in our downstairs bedroom. I didn't know what to do about it short of hiring a drywaller and demo the whole thing. These were the perfect solution as all we had to do was glue them on. Unfortunately we didn't order enough so we are waiting on the second order to finish. The first picture is my old ugly ceiling and the second is what we have gotten done so far. I can't wait to get started again to finish it. It only took us a couple of hours to do all of this.
