The media could not be loaded. Perfect waterfall stream I am using a 4500gph 220w pump to power this. You can also throw in some bio media or pond filter pads inside for filtration. The inner dimensions are 16”x 16-1/2” where media can go. The bulkhead that it comes with is an 1” with hose fitting and elbow
