I have fine thin hair, but it tangles very easily. The Wet brush detangles gently, but has enough bristles to also smooth hair down. It's soft on the scalp and actually is ok to use on wet hair. They don't get tangled into hair the way round brushes can, but can still be used to turn hair up or under while drying.
