This time I have attached two pictures of my dog, Rudy, who is addicted to your rib bones. I could have attached 50 pictures, as he has a bone in his mouth in all of them. In fact, I couldn’t find a single picture of him without a bone in his mouth (this being the main reason for the second review). Obviously, the dog loves them, but I like them too. Now, I don’t eat them, or even taste them, but I do love that they come individually shrink wrapped. I also like the fact that they come from a USDA approved facility, and that just seems a lot safer to me (remember the “pet food laced with melamine powder” tragedy of a few years ago, and the more recent “pig ear” recall?). When I open the wrapping on a rib bone for Rudy, it has a nice fresh wholesome smell, and no matter where he is in the house, he comes running! Thanks so much for providing this nice product for my dog. Through him, I have come to realize that dog bones are way more important than I ever thought possible... They were individually shrink wrapped in easy-to-remove plastic, and were all inside another plastic bag which arrived in a padded shipping envelope. Of course, my dogs sniffed them out and could smell them through all of the packaging as soon as they stopped barking at the poor mail lady.They love the elk antlers... not so much the deer... But they're so expensive, and they don't last as long as I would like for the money. These are much more reasonably priced. They don't last quite as long as antlers, but I am able to give them more often with eight in a pack. I will definitely order these again!I did have one concern at first. They chewed the bones to get to the marrow, and I started finding some broken pieces lying around. Some of them were a little sharp, but it didn't splinter. My 3 Shiba Inu's are heavy chewers and need something that will last. These beef bones last about 1-1.5 weeks for my medium sized dogs. First the dogs eat all the yummy bits on the outside of the bone then spend the rest of the time playing keep away with each other to see who will break them down to get the marrow! So far I have not seen any splintering with these bones that happens with some other pork bones. We appreciate that they are made on the USA & come from grass fed beef.The packaging of theses bone is very nice they are wrapped individually and secondly in a zip top bag. This is great so they don't smell up your cupboard!
