First Defense Nasal Screens for Adults, Large, 7 Count

I have been struggling with sinus issues, which lead to a very dry and painful nose and difficulty sleeping, for a very long time. Humidifiers, nasal sprays, nasal creams - I've purchased them all. I was hesitant to buy these, because most of the descriptions and recommendations relate to allergies, dust, mold, etc., and my issue is more general than that. I just have really bad sinuses. I decided to try these screens after I had been going to sleep at night wearing a very uncomfortable face mask bunched up over my nose to basically accomplish the same thing. (The facemask was, as I mentioned, uncomfortable, and ALWAYS came off during the night.) As unflattering as this picture of me is (LOL), I wanted to show how I use these and how they fit. All I can say is that I LOVE this product. Easy to use. Very easy to breathe through. I have slept SO WELL these past few nights since I have had these, and I wake up with nostrils that are not in pain!! Hallelujah!! I will probably down-size and try size Medium next to see how that size fits, but I will continue to buy this product!!

These nasal filters are great! As someone who suffers from allergies, I keep these in my purse ready for cleaning, yard work, or any project that puts me into contact with an allergen.. They are easy to put on, discreet and convenient to carry around! They also stay in place perfectly until I remove them. I suggest ordering large only though because I accidentally ordered size small one time and they seemed to restrict my airflow.. but I've never had that problem with the larger size. I think the smaller ones are just for kids.They claim that these help 'alleviate respiratory suffering by comfortably filtering inhaled air and removing airborne germs, allergens and/or noxious particles'- knowing that makes me feel better to use these when viruses are going around and during flu season..A wonderful article I read (g16, No.6) gave some great precautions to take to prevent spread of diseases. It mentioned these suggestions below...'Do not share personal items, such as razors, toothbrushes, or towels..... And do not underestimate the benefits of washing your hands thoroughly and frequently. It is perhaps the most effective way you can stop the spread of infection.If possible, stay home when you are sick... cough or sneeze into a tissue or your sleeve, but not into your hands.An ancient proverb states: “The shrewd one sees the danger and conceals himself.” (Proverbs 22:3) How true are those words today in a world plagued with potentially dangerous diseases! So inform yourself by consulting local health services, and conceal yourself from danger by practicing good hygiene. Bolster your defenses, and reduce the risk of disease!'Such great suggestions!!!UPDATE:(6/10/21)I still like using these nasal filters although I do wish they were a little cheaper🙂 Also, I've noticed with the last ones I've received that it itches alot around where the nasal strips stick to my nostrils.. I'm not sure if it's the glue causing the itching or what. But maybe my skin is just real sensitive to the glue being used.. 😏 they might not affect your skin though so worth trying it out👍🙂UPDATE (3/15/22) I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND BUYING A LARGER SIZE THAN YOUR NOSTRILS BECAUSE WHEN I ORDERED THE SMALLER SIZE NASAL SCREENS THEY DO RESTRICT SOME OF MY AIR FLOW.. BUT ANYTIME I USE THE SIZE 'LARGE' I SEEM TO HAVE GREAT AIRFLOW.Hope this helps you😊👍

I bought these filters mostly for work because I deal with people who smoke, but still carry that smoke on their bodies and I can smell them a mile away. I saw these filters on Shark Tank and thought ok, not bad, but it occurred to me that our nostrils are black..not tan color?? These filters are claimed to be unnoticeable from a far distance, but up close, you will look weird. I think I rather wear a face mask instead. I think these filters would have been great if the maker made the filter black color with tan edging to blend in with the nose, now that would be not noticeable too much. Make the filter look like our nose hairs or something, not neccesarily sticking out of our noses. Also maybe make these filters like a dome shape where you can stick the elevated part into your nose. But they should be black regardless. Just look in the mirror right now and see what your nostrils look like....black right?? I am not going to be wearing these filters for work. I tried them out here at home and noticed that they actually lose their filtering power after a few hours of use. When you first use them you have trouble breathing, but I mean you get use to it or at least I think you do otherwise maybe its the fact that the filter material is losing its power. After a few hours it felt like I wasn't wearing them at all then I tried sniffing some clorox and could smell it...when I first put the filters on I couldn't smell the clorox bleach. The filters look very thin too. I want the makers of these to really consider making these black with tan trim and maybe a bit more thicker too. The tape is fine..it stuck on very well. I saw some other filters for the nose that actually go inside your nose and it has a little plastic thing that wraps under your nose and it doesn't look noticeable much, but the filter they use is like mesh stainless steel or something...doesn't look like they would work for smoke. Good try First defense, but your color is way off!!! Make these in black with tan trimming and I think we have a winner. And maybe make tape tan too not just clear. Hurry up please! I am dying of second hand smoke here.
