They feel sturdy but the material that the shoes are made up of, is very stiff and slightly uncomfortable to wear. There is hardly any wiggle room to push your feet all the way through, but I would 'NOT' suggest sizing up because then it'll be really loose at the heels and ankle, making it impossible to walk in them. To sum it up, buy these only if you're a hundred percent sure of your size and wouldn't mind a little discomfort.
