I just finish installing this tape on two rims and had no problems whatsoever with it sticking. However, I know what I'm doing and I've setup many rims to run tubeless prior to this install. If you want the tape to stick and seal properly: 1st, after removing tires and tubes and the old rim tape clean your rims. Clean them twice. I just isopropyl alcohol with a clean rag or paper towel. I also clean the the outside or the rims and my hands with the alcohol as well, because any contamination will cause the tape not to stick. 2nd, don't expect to just install the new valve stems and reinstall your tires and expect it to work and seal. Reinstall the tubes and the tires and inflate them to the recommended pressure and let sit overnight. This will seat/adhere the tubeless tape completely to the rims. After these steps then remove the tubes from one side of the tire, install the new valve stems, add sealant and reinstall the tire on the one side you removed and fill with air. If you do this your tubeless setup will work every time.
