The cabinet is very well finished Medium Density Fiberboard with a long L shaped internal vent and heavily stuffed with acoustic fiber. If you search desertcart or the Chinese import sites I doubt you will find a similarly constructed speaker for less than double the price. I early bought the smaller CNSZNAT P300 and like it so much I bought this 4" version too. Note, this speaker will work best in a near-field (like desktop) environment and the bass greatly benefits from use of an equalizer. But, the midrange and highs are extremely accurate and it will play quite loudly for its size. I am very pleased with my purchase. Review: Super nice. Buy it you will like it. - The speaker is super high quality. It is a Aucharm 4 inch driver. The capicator is a 470uf 25v which I changed to a KZ 470uf and repacked the box to my liking. I run them alone and hooked to a set of 2 ways. Carbon paper cone. Good looking. Finish 100%. It is the nicest 4 inch full range speaker you will find. It's not often you find full range drivers. The box finish is top notch however the port is too large. I would have kept the speakers and just replaced the drivers with high end ones if the port was properly designed.
