Today tried to turn it on with battery that has been exercised and charged all along - wouldn't power on. Plugged in and turned on - shows battery at 90%. OK, that high and should be able to do this - unplugged. BAM, shuts off, no output from battery. Avoid this one. Must be substandard cells.It's a pain to open and install with this laptop, but I guess I have to do it once again. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Still working. *by G***R on March 1, 2021* I installed this in October 2020 into an ASUS G751JY and it is still working fine. Battery life in the ASUS was always horrible (~1-1.5hrs) even when only sitting idle so I mainly replaced the battery because the original would not hold any charge and I needed to protect against brown-outs. Plus, the bios update utility would not run without a charged battery and I needed to update the bios in order to support 32GB of RAM that I updated to (the ASUS came with 16GB and I added 16GB). This product met a basic utilitarian need. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pain to install *by M***. on June 19, 2024* Battery works just fine. Fixed the laptop not charging, but the install is a pain.
