They have zippers and come with extra memory foam. You can add and remove as you please. Best pillows I have ever purchased. Have had for about 2 or 3 months and they remain comfy and fluffy. **Q: Is the whole pillow really washable? Who has washed and dried it? How long did it take to dry?** A: I washed the WHOLE of both our pillows yesterday (in a laundromat machine because we have king sized pillows, completely full, and they wouldn't fit in our top-loader). I should have tried to dry them at the laundromat too, because they ARE STILL NOT DRY 6 HOURS LATER! We have resorted to separating the memory foam into smaller mesh bags and drying them individually in hopes they will dry today. Do not try washing the foam at home, or maybe at all; maybe try dry cleaning the foam? **Q: What kind of pillow case will fit this and not be hot?** A: Standard queen will JUST fit if you do not add more stuffing. It’s not hot at all. If you want a looser fit you’ll need to size up. You might not want all the stuffing though, as it’s quite generous to begin with and the part about it being β€œnever-flat” is 100% true. So don’t buy any new pillowcases until you try this pillow for a few nights. **Q: Why do I fell like I have cotton in my mouth and throat after sleeping on the pillow?** A: A lot of people are complaining about the pillows off-gassing. Perhaps it's a side effect of that. Off-gassing products can be harmful and should be avoided until it stops. If you can wash the product, wash it. If it still smells for a couple of days, don't use it. I cannot do super fluffy as my neck cannot handle being angled in a forward ( bent ) position for more than a couple hours. I need FLAT but that does not mean I need or want hard. These are super comfortable and soft. As with any memory foam they form to your head. I took out tons and tons of the filling to make them flat enough for me to be comfortable ( took about 3/4 days to get it right ) I fluffed like advised on low for 10 min in dryer and also hand fluffed. These are great as they are like ' CUSTOME MADE ' to your liking - can't beat that. I saved all the filling in plastic bags in the event I would ever need to use it for extra filling or to possible fill another pillow or possible pet bed in the future ( they do give extra filling for those who like BIG fluffy pillows-which of course, I did not need ). The zipper on one of the pillow cases was not working properly and the company sent me a BRAND NEW REPLACEMENT OF BOTH PILLOWS AT NO COST- ( this was just a couple days after purchase not weeks or months ) - That kind of no hassle service is uncommon and super rare these days so I gladly appreciated it - especially after a $70 purchase! I would highly recommend both the soft, comfortable and adjustable pillows and company!
