The gold is really pretty. In my photos the rug has an orange tone which is not the case in person. In person it’s more yellow. It must just be the camera or lighting. Overall, I like it. I do wish there was a little more gray/beige/taupe to it and less yellow and white tones. It also is just a print. It’s a picture on fabric. There is no texture or hair like appearance to the material whatsoever. At least it’s soft. My dog likes it. You can’t tell how fake the rug is until you get up close to it. I love the shiny silver effect on it! And the markings on the fur are realistic. I love the fact that it’s a flat, smooth rug instead of a furry texture yet it’s still soft and looks realistic. Any faux fur I have ever bought in my lifetime gets yucky after being washed or stepped on over time, so I think the creators of this product really made a great decision to give this a realistic fur look without making it have long fuzzy strands of faux fur fibers. Also, here’s a huge shoutout to my delivery driver!!! They took such courteous care of my package and even put it inside of my side door hallway for me instead of just leaving it outside to collect dirt or get wet. I rated this product 3 stars in the “easy to clean” rating section because it’s brand new therefore I don’t need to clean it, so I can’t honestly say if I think it’s easy to clean or not. I would NOT recommend washing this in the washing machine, spot clean only with warm soapy water. I hope this lasts many years to come!!
