It's strong and protective. It feels as though it will last a while. The rubbery covering prevents the iPad from slipping and allows me to grip and prop it without chasing it around. I have an old wrist injury so this is a real help to grasp and hold onto the device. The adjustable rotating strap on the back is useful for this purpose also. The cover was relatively easy to apply, once I figured out which way to place it - only took a minute. I'm glad it doesn't have a screen cover so I don't have to apply more pressure than previously. There are only two minor problems. The speaker sound holes block some sound so I have to turn up the volume. The USB connection port is protected by a flap, so I can't plug it onto my bedside radio's charger prong and have to plug it into the wall to charge it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great product read ALL instructions first *by A***S on October 31, 2018* This is awesome, it’s sold for kids but I needed it for myself because I keep dropping my iPad and broke my last case just by disassembling it. >_
