Often referred to as the "Drum" fixture. It offers a "floating" look to lighted element. Slim design for a low profile look. Non yellowing UV protected acrylic lens. Completely wired with a quiet 100% electronic ballast for instant on and no flicker. 120V 60htz. Suitable for damp locations and as a wall or ceiling light fixture. Size : 14" diameter x 3 1/4" height Review: So easy a 68 year old woman can install😊 - Love it easy to install and lots of light Review: It's a good light - I replaced a 30-year-old circline fixture with this one. Here are my experiences: First the dimensions: the base measures 13 11/16" in diameter, and is 1" high. It completely covered the ceiling marks from my old fixture. With the cover in place the unit is 14" x 3 1/2". My first light arrived with the circline bulbs smashed and shaking around in the container. Brodwax lighting arranged a replacement (note that the product is actually made (or rather imported from China) by AMAX lighting. This second light was slightly different: packed in pressed cardboard forms rather than styrofoam blocks, and it had metal rather than plastic bulb clips (a plus, in my opinion). The included screws to mount the light didn't fit my existing junction box, but I was able to re-use the old screws. The open/close arrows for the cover were mounted backwards (see comparison pic of the first vs. second cover). Following these wrong arrows I managed to jam the cover on, then spent 10 frustrating minutes getting it off again. Once I realized the problem, the cover went on and off easily. Update 1 year later: still a good light. Included bulbs must be cheap no-brands, as the larger bulb went out today.
