I also have a gel moisturizer which I quite like. This is a very thick toner. You need to shake the bottle into your hand (or on a cotton pad) and drops come out. It feels very good on my face but it does feel sticky for a few minutes until it absorbs. I do wish the directions were printed on the bottle (not just the box). The scent is very nice - it smells CLEAN, if that makes any sense. The bottle is dated 9/13/2021, which seems fine to me. Music angle - I believe “tenuto” means “to hold” - an italian musical notation. There is a QR code you can scan, which takes you to a youTube channel with classical music. I’ve only ever used very watery toners in the past. This one you have to kind of shake out onto a cotton pad. It does feel very moisturizing on the skin and absorbs quickly. There isn’t any sticky residue or film left behind. I didn’t experience any irritation from this toner. I have acne-prone oily sensitive skin for reference. I am very much enjoying the hydrating benefits given that it is the middle of winter where I live. I thought the packaging was very whimsical and charming. I love when a brand puts a lot of thought into the presentation in addition to the formula of their product. The musical notes and piano keys are beautiful. The bottle is generously sized and given the consistency of this toner, will last quite awhile because there won’t be any accidental excess getting wasted.
