The dimensions of my office are such that I was struggling to find something that both fit in a corner with a desktop/monitor and had a long left side for my laptop so that I could swivel, but wasn't long on the right side to block a doorway. This unit is exactly what I was looking for. Build quality is very good and much more sturdy and heavy compared to cheaper units. It's still particle wood, but much much thicker and solid. The entire thing probably weighs over 100lbs and is rock solid. There are only four pieces and it assembles in 30 minutes tops. The connections between large pieces are easy to tear due to heavy nature of the high quality wood. Super heavy. You'll generally want a partner to move the box and help with a few key steps in the construction phase. (However this high weight is due to the excellent quality of the parts.) Mine came without any damage but there is no padding in the package. Seems risky.Conclusion: Absolutely love it. I was originally worried 72"W was going to be too long but honestly its perfect. This desk is perfect. Be careful when you're putting it together, gravity can seriously destroy this thing during construction.
