Works but not great
Purchased as you can imagine to be able to charge and play at the same time. I immediately noticed a buzzing sound every time I would listen to anything on the phone while it was charging. I didn’t bother returning because the sound is not too loud for me. But I wouldn’t buy another connection piece because of this. You also lose the ability to control the volume from the Apple earbuds when the piece is connected.

Works on iPhone Xs MAX - Recommended
Got this since I want to be able to use my analog phones, or plug into the Aux jack on my '06 truck that does not have USB or Bluetooth. Also allows me to charge while I use the headphones. This adapter works without issue and I am pleased with it.

go with another brand
Had a weak connection fresh out ofThe box, my audio would crackle. After three days of use the adapter stopped working entirely and my iPhone gave the “device not supported” message

Static
When using this product, I get a ton of static noise that comes through. I tried several different cables both on the power and the audio side thinking it was one of them that was creating the issue. However, if I remove this splitter and go directly to my device with an audio cable, I get NO static, therefore it must be this splitter causing the issue.

Do not buy
Would give 0 stars if could. This is definitely a piece of junk with fake reviews. The sound is fuzzy and crackly and it only work about every other time I plug-in.

Not worth it -stopped working
This did not work for long. A few days after the return window closed I started getting ‘device not supported’ message and can either charge the phone or use headphones. Waste of money.

Stopped working with my iPhone XR
Already threw it away. A little piece on the chord fell off right away and then all of a sudden one day, my phone stopped connecting. It worked for a little while and then hit a bump or move the phone wrong and it would stop working. Piece of junk.
