As some others noted, they run a bit large. This wasn't much of an issue for me as the velcro adjusters on the side of the shorts worked enough to make the shorts fit securely. Unfortunately the velcro quickly wore out and doesn't reliably stay attached. So they can't really be used to secure the shorts. Making matters worse, the picture shows a belt on the shorts, that I thought were included with the shorts, but were not. And making matters worse, there is no belt loop on the back of the shorts. So a belt cannot be added. Some other small issues, the logo on the shorts were attached poorly and the letters started to fall off. I could care less about the presence of a logo on the shorts, but does suggest some cheapness in the manufacturing.I did raise the issues with customer service and they responded quickly with an offer to refund 5 dollars for the defective belt or to return the item via amazon. Since the item is largely useless to me without a belt, i opted to return it. It is a shame about the shortcoming as they were otherwise good shorts. They felt comfortable and did its job wicking away sweat on long rides. And they stretched enough to give you mobility. My wife thinks they’re too baggy. I don’t really care because they comfortable and protect thighs to my knees from sun and keep me cool while riding on warm days. Remind me of my old surfer jams I wore at the beach back in the sixties growing up in California but lite weight with lots of zippered pockets for house keys and small wallet. The legs are roomy without being baggy. The inseam to waist is perfect as well. Maybe a little long past the knee but it's not bad, I'm not used to these, idk. I bought 2 sets, I'll probably but at least two more this season. I bought 36-38 size.The legs have 4 zipper pockets with a right side rear wallet zipper pocket.
